Community favourites around Sydney CBD

Community participation support means doing more of what you enjoy, close to home. A few local ideas:

Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Wide, mostly flat paths, harbour views and plenty of shady places to stop and rest.

State Library of NSW

Free exhibitions, quiet reading rooms and accessible entry from Macquarie Street.

Darling Harbour

Waterfront walks, cafés and events, with step-free paths around much of the harbour.

Getting around

Town Hall, Wynyard, Central and St James stations are all close by, and the light rail runs along George Street. We help with travel training so you can get around the city confidently.

Support in your language

Our team speaks Cantonese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Spanish, Malay and Indonesian as well as English, which helps the many international and multicultural communities who call the city home.
